Welcome to "Distilled", a team blog authored by the staff of Great Lakes Distillery.
Our intent is to use this blog to discuss various topics that we think may interest you. Consider this a little insiders view of our distilling world. We plan to cover a wide range of topics including spirits, what we're working on at the distillery, what we're drinking, mixology, politics as they relate to spirits, and in general things that relate to the craft distilling world and the people who enjoy craft distilled spirits. Hopefully we'll be able to entertain you, better still we hope you'll learn something.
Needless to say everyone at our distillery enjoys a good drink. In fact we're passionate about a good drink and have built a business and careers based on having a good drink! Our team members include Guy Rehorst- founder of Great Lakes Distillery, Ryan Rappis- our spirits ambassador/ marketing manager, Doug MacKenzie our distiller/production manager and Jason Neu- our distillery mixologist.
